What to do?

It rained for a few days while we were in California so what do you do when it is raining outside? Build stuff with blocks, of course. Here is Ashton in his own little fort.
Here are all the boys with a tower they built to the ceiling.

First Skiing Lessons

During Christmas we also went skiing (the boys went skiing and Tyson snowboarding) at Mt. Shasta which is about an hour from my parents house. My mom and I were support and were supposed to document this wonderful event. We had 2 cameras, you would have thought we would have gotten some better pictures. Oh, well this is it, Hayden and Ashton's first skiing lessons. They both did really well and had fun but were tired and cold by the end of the day. We weren't aware they had to have eye protection so I had to buy some there (without the boys because we had already checked them in when i got this information). So of goes the pregnant woman running to there shop to buy sunglasses, trying not to slip and fall on my butt. I just hoped they would fit so I wouldn't have to buy multiple pairs of over priced sunglasses. This is why they still have tags on and I'm trying them on them.

Another Tooth Gone

While at the "moonwalk" place Hayden knocked a loose tooth really good. He is quite dramatic when hurt, so several people probably became nervous about their own injuries that might occur. But all went well Tyson pulled out the bloody tooth. Hayden was so excited that the tooth fairy comes to California too.

Bouncing out excess energy

While in California for Christmas we went to a "moonwalk" facility. It had several different blow up activities. It was the best activity, the boys really needed to run around. It was pretty cheap (I think it was $7 for 2 hours for the kids and adults were free with a paying child) but the hours were very limited. You can rent the place out for parties so thats probably how they make their money. I would highly recomend finding one of these facilities, there is a chain called Pump It Up (http://www.pumpitupparty.com/), the kids loved it.

Ashton loved putting this thing on his head. They also had really big punching gloves and padded poles to hit eachother with. Tyson got in with Ashton and they both had fun. I seriuosly considered investing in some for at home.
