The creatures in our house.
Tyson brought back some toy eggs from his last trip. You place the eggs in water and they eventually hatch but it takes 12 to 24 hours to just crack. It took a while and the boys kept checking them none stop. They ended up being a turlte and aligator.
We had the eggs on the window seal in the kitchen. The boys are very independent and climb up on anything and everything they need to get what they want. It used to be the top of the fridge was the only safe place but Ashton is often found on top of the fridge getting something. We no longer have any safe spots. We also installed latches at the top of ours doors to lock the doors and keep the boys from getting outside. We had Ashton escaping a lot a couple years ago. Now he just moves a chair and unlocks the doors. Hayden has never even tried or probably thought about it. I can't wait for Ashton's teenage years, I'm sure he will keep us on our toes.

Caden got something like that for Christmas this year. You put the bugs in water and watch them grow 600%. It was kind of fun. The only bummer was that when you took them out of the water, a couple days would take them back to their original size. It was fun seeing him get excited about how big it was every day.
I just did something on my blog. Go on and read it. Tag- You're it.
